… and was forced to get out of my hibernation by someone
She told her not to give me my prize until I do atleast three posts!!
Life’s been busy as always, but thats not the excuse this time. I somehow couldn’t get myself to bring me to the blog…… is there somethign called as blogarthargy? :-!
I haven’t checked what comments I have recieved……… I opened my mail box after a long long time……. blog stats are something long forgotten!
I was talking to her sometime back and she was going through it as well. And she very aptly put it as, “Our honeymoon period with our blog seems to be over!” (U) ( I don’t think she has reached my stage though.
)
And that was so true………
I used to have my blog and email links open always……. TOI was being refreshed every few minutes to check what’s cooking around? ………. blog stats were checked twice a day and IP adresses were put to use to see who’s visiting me from where………. SIGH!! Whats happened to all that??
I have at least 10 posts in my draft……. but I still can’t get myself to publish them…….. There are more than a dozen emails asking me where have I disappeared and whats wrong with me still waiting to be answered. Too many thank you’s are due for all those blog awards.
Is anyone feeling anything remotely like this? Or is it just me?
Anyways, lets have some bhutta…

This post was long due….. remember this?
I was in my draft since then!
For Garlic infused, oregano butter corn on the cobs, you need:
2 corn on cobs
1 1/2 – 2 tsp butter (softened to room temperature)
1 small clove of garlic
1 tsp oragano
salt to taste.
Except corn, mix all the other ingredients together
Brush it evenly over the corn
Preheat the oven to 200 C and grill the corn till they just start to get some brown specs….. about 12-15 mins
Enjoy it hot!

O.M.G. She threatens and dares. I know. But this is total dadagiri! Put your foot down, I say. Hmmph!
But good things always come out of it all – glad to have you back!
its so good to see you back!! and the pics are wonderful…its been raining here inconsistently ….. but the carts of bhuttas being sold makes you want to really wish the heavens open up….. welcome back….:)
I am only six months old, and already going through this – not because I do not enjoy blogging, but because I find it takes a few really precious hours off from my real life. I love the fact that I have found many friends in this sphere, learnt more about cooking and presenting, improved my photography skills, but I feel the presssure sometimes! And I truly think you girls who have been around for such a long time and giving quality stuff deserve three cheers:)
one down. two more to go. what was it you bid on? the durian? or the jackfruit?
hey…nice pixs dear…

Hey Coffee! Nice to see you back. Please don’t go away. I felt some lethargy a few weeks ago but began to miss the whole thing after three weeks, and now I want to blog but don’t have too much to say – quite contrary to all those unpublished posts in your blog!:-S

I need more recipes from you.
Welcome back coffee… I was just thinking about you the other day … How long are you going to stick around this time?
Corn looks yummy!!
Join the crowd I say
I know EXACTLY how you feel, Coffee. I have at least a dozen posts to put up but I simply cant bring myself to make that extra effort. I still take photos of anything new that I cook. I figure that the day I dont even feel like taking photos will be the day that I shut down my blog :-/ BUT… it’s absolutely GREAT to see you back. Perhaps if you get out of your blogthargy, I’ll be inspired by your example
For a minute I thought someone tried to mug you!
Welcome back.
Hot “bhutta” always cheers me up too. This happens to most of us at sometime, I think. Its happening to me right now, though I haven’t been blogging long! I have the material and ideas but the effort of getting it all to gether seems too much at times.
But I like blogging and food too much to leave it, and I would like to think you do too.:)
glad to see you back…
)
and yes love the ware on your header…..
Yes .. there are times when this happens..it has happened to me too !
I guess its some kind of hibernation (U)
Also a wooooooooow on the new blog header – its damn neat !
Best Regards,
Sam !
Oh..i have more than 20 posts in draft and i have started scheduling them..
For the past two weeks i have stopped taking pic.s of the dishes, so that i can finish up posting the ones i already have…
.So yeah, went through the same feeling, i guess still going through.Thursday, made corn on the cob with some onion soup mix and butter for some friends.Yours with garlic, sounds great!
looks like I need to ask Bee to threaten u again
love the new header… very blue…
Hi Coffee, nice to have you back here. You will face fall always in every line. But don’t get disturbed with these. Share your knowledge with peers and eventually you will enjoy it. Take care myd ear. Viji
Nice to see you back in action Coffee (L) Enjoy your prize/s (G)
Loved the garlicky corn on the cob
Nice to see you back …welcome back…butta looks yummy and nice post.
I know exactly how you feel. I’ve had a lot of personal stuff going on and haven’t had much motivation or energy to blog lately. (W) Awesome comeback, dear Coffee! I love the blog header and the pics are just too good! (Y)
It’s not just you — I think we all go through that blog-block sometimes! Happy to see you coffee dear, and as I clicked on the link to comment here, I caught sight of paneer butter BUTTER masala…. OMG now I have to go back and peek at that!
:)
Photos look yummy and I can’t wait to try them. I think I’d opt to cook them on a grill and brush on the butter, garlic and oregano. The corn gets a nice char on the grill so be careful not to brush too much on at one time.
Here’s an option. I use a garam masala and butter mixture on corn on the grill. The sweet corn with the delicious garam masala butter is divine!
